Getting married at Eklutna Lake?
We’ve done a few weddings here and they’ve all been smaller groups who wanted a beautiful setting in the mountains. The lake is one of the prettiest spots in the Anchorage Bowl. You can pretty much pick any spot to have the ceremony, but most people chose a location along the lakeshore.
Travel Tips for Eklutna Lake:
Allow 20-25 minutes to drive from the Glenn Highway exit to the parking lot. You’ll need a Chugach State Park annual parking pass or purchase a day pass from the self serve area. If you don’t pay, you risk getting fined.
