This new service is offered as a complete wedding package for the smallest groups and couples coming to Alaska looking for a unique and private wedding amongst the most spectacular backdrops Alaska has to offer. Reachable only by air, these locations can include glaciers, volcanoes, braided river valleys, or high alpine tundra. You tell us your interests and we will put it all together.. From Lake Hood airport in Anchorage you will depart on an unforgettable and scenic flight en-route to your wedding destination. Your pilot, Joe Darminio of Alaska Bush Safari Co. will fill you in on the areas rich cultural and geological history, or let you enjoy music of your choosing. After landing you're welcome to have some time together to explore the area. Captain Darminio will precede over the ceremony and your photographer will capture the entire day as it unfolds and assist you with any needs or requests. Lunch or Dinner can be provided on longer trips, or arrangements can be made to land in a town along the way. You can also extend the trip to include a night or two at a wilderness lodge or small fishing village.
