Hope and Matthew flew up from the Maryland to escape the summer heat of the mid-Atlantic. Somehow, after the ceremony, the helicopter pilot and I convinced them that getting into the glacial pool for a swim would be a good idea. They were all for it and off they went! In case you are wondering. Glacial pools are right at 32 degrees – they are pools of water in ice, after-all! Just an all around gorgeous afternoon and evening in the mountains with two great people.
