This was such an awesome couple! And the perfect venue for a small group to have a private dinner. Paradise Alaska is a family-run venue in Palmer with spectacular views of Pioneer Peak. As you can see in the images below, it was just the bride, groom, and immediate family in attendance. A private dinner was catered by one of my favorite chefs – Wes Masters of Master’s Catering. He served up a great spread in a little tent setup in case it rained. And rain it did! We started the day off with bright blue skies and sunshine, and by dinner a cold rain shower came through. In the photos below you’ll also see a little mountain-shaped cake-pop collection. The bride made these, and they were the best I’ve ever had. She really should quit her day job and become a cake-pop distributor! She’d get rich on those things.. wow! The next day we met up again for a helicopter flight to explore the Knik Glacier area. We found some really interesting locations, as always. Every time we go back there, we try to find something new and unique. Helicopter services were provided by Tanalian Aviation – a super safe and accommodating service based in Anchorage and Palmer with Girdwood flights a possibility as well.
