Atoya & James had a stellar fall day for their wedding in the mountains. After getting ready in Anchorage, we headed out to the Knik River Lodge to depart for the glaciers and mountains of the Chugach. The astute viewer might notice that we had two helicopters, and two hair styles on Atoya. Early in the day we had zero wind and lovely warmth, but towards the end of the day the wind picked up and we got hit pretty hard by some chilly 30-40mph winds while the helicopter was going back to base refuel. Due to the higher winds, our pilot came back with a bigger helicopter that would be more capable in those conditions. We snuck out of the windy area and found an area in the wind-shadow of a big mountain. Much better! So many good photos and moments with these two!
