Courtney and Scott were so on top of it. They met with Lena, their photographer, months in advance. Now, we know not everyone is ready to meet with their photographer 6 months before the wedding, but in their case, it was really nice to get to know them earlier on.
When March of 2020 rolled around, Courtney and Scott had to change a lot of the plans they had for their wedding. Again, they stayed on top of it as much as they could with the ever-changing Covid environment. With the help of their wedding venue, The Gathering Place http://thegatheringplaceak.com/ , they were still able to have their wedding on their date. They had to minimize their numbers, but their closest family members were still in attendance.
It was such a special wedding! From the beautiful details to their sweet family members to a gorgeous sunny day, it was definitely a wedding for the books. Their ceremony, given by Reverend Cian of Celtic Ministries https://celticministries.com/ , was incredibly unique and sentimental.
Then, shortly after the ceremony and cake cutting, Alaska Heli flew to The Gathering Place and picked us up. That was pretty neat in itself! Usually, we get on the helicopter at their building or heli pad, but to be picked up on the back lawn made us all feel like famous people. Too fun!
