Getting married At the Alaska Aviation Museum?
This is a super fun spot to have a ceremony or reception, especially if you like airplanes. There are a bunch of old planes sitting around available to use for photos, and the interior reception space is really big and also full of planes. Pro tip: If you’re renting the big white tent, you really need to bring in some colorful LED up-lights. Check out our reception photos and you’ll see what the lights can do. Travel Tips for the Alaska Aviation Museum:
Plenty of parking here and an easy drive from anywhere in Anchorage. Everyone knows where the airport is. Look for the old Alaska Airlines plane on the right and that’s where the museum is located. If you have an outdoor ceremony, you might end up pausing a few times as a float plane takes off. They are quite loud!
